Available in powder and liquid forms, Teflon™ industrial coatings offer a wide range of uses and functions across a wide range of industries. Teflon™ industrial coatings are suitable for a variety of applications based on:

Nonstick: Virtually no solids adhere permanently to Teflon™ industrial coatings. Sticky materials may stick temporarily, but almost everything comes off easily.
Low coefficient of friction: Teflon™ industrial coatings can reduce the coefficient of kinetic friction to between 0.05 and 0.20, depending on load, sliding speed and coating.
Heat Resistance: Teflon™ Industrial Coatings can be used continuously at temperatures up to 260°C (500°F) and intermittently at temperatures up to 316°C (600°F) without affecting other nature.
Chemical Resistance: Because the low porosity of Teflon™ industrial coatings improves penetration resistance, chemical environments do not affect them. The only chemicals that might affect it are molten alkali metals and highly reactive fluorinating agents.
Nonwetting: Teflon™ Industrial Coatings are water repellent (hydrophobic) and oil repellent (oleophobic). The paint has a low surface energy that creates a cohesive force strong enough to make water droplets bulge without laying flat on the paint surface.
Unique Electrical Properties: Teflon™ industrial coatings have high dielectric strength, low dissipation factor and high surface resistivity over a wide frequency range. When fillers are added to some coatings, they can be used as antistatic coatings.
Abrasion Resistance: Superior durability and toughness allow Teflon™ industrial coatings to resist scratches and abrasions. Paints with added fillers reduce scratches to a minimum.
Food Contact Compliant: Many Teflon™ industrial coatings comply with regional food contact regulations, such as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 21CFR regulations.
